About Us

The Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library is a cooperative run by volunteers, is an indoor playspace for children, birth through kindergarten, and their caregivers. Located in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, we feature abundant toys encouraging imaginative play, gross-motor development and artistic expression. Members may borrow toys for home use. Our playspace may also be used by both members and non-members for private parties.

Our Mission, Values, and Vision

The Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library continues as an all-volunteer, cooperative organization to provide young children (birth through age 6), their parents and caregivers with a safe, fun place to play and access high quality, age appropriate toys for home play.

Our values include: opportunities for children, support for parents and caregivers, community outreach, diversity, and reduced or free membership available based on financial need.

The PTLL Cooperative will build healthy families through play, programs, and positive interactions.
